Position – Senior Extrusion Operator
Job Location – River Falls, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime available
Starting Pay – $25 per hour, with potential up to $28-$30 for highly experienced candidates

Required Education – High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience – At least 5 years of experience operating extrusion and production equipment. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, coach and train others, and work independently and as part of a team. Experience with ERP systems and basic Microsoft applications. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
The Senior Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating extrusion machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality output in compliance with company and customer standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to safety and process improvement. Day-to-day work includes preparing materials and equipment, operating and cleaning machines, performing changeovers, troubleshooting issues, documenting production and quality data, and supporting team members.
Responsibilities

Operate extrusion and auxiliary equipment safely and effectively.

Set up and prepare materials, equipment, and paperwork for daily production.

Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and routine maintenance.

Comply with quality standards and document detailed process and quality data.

Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and operating issues.

Operate forklift and other powered equipment; load and unload trucks as needed.

Track and maintain supplies for the production floor; make ERP inventory and manufacturing transactions.

Report incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisor.

Proactively recommend improvements to extrusion performance.

Train and coach team members as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Perform any additional duties assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in extrusion operations and production equipment.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.

Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
