The IT Service Technician provides technical support to end users, ensuring that hardware, software, and network systems function efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading computer systems while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to company IT policies.

Work Hours (Shift) – Days, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional weekends as needed)
Starting Pay – $21 to $23 per hour

Required Education – Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Required Experience – 1 year of IT experience
Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems in a timely manner.

Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in accordance with IT security policies.

Maintain inventory of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, and related accessories.

Perform regular maintenance and updates to systems and applications to ensure optimal performance.

Document all support interactions, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the service ticketing system.

Assist with network and server troubleshooting, including routers, switches, and printers.

Provide remote and on-site support as needed for employees or clients.

Collaborate with IT management and other team members on larger infrastructure or deployment projects.
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.

Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.

Strong understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and network configurations.

Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
