Position – Brake/Punch Press Operator
Job Location – Prescott, WI
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Shift – 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (48 hours per week)
Starting Pay – $18.00 per hour
Required Education – High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience – 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new machinery, and contributing to a fast-paced production team. You’ll operate and monitor presses, ensure quality standards are met, and keep production flowing smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press machines to produce quality parts according to specifications

• Run small sample parts to verify setup before starting full production runs

• Monitor production for consistency and accuracy throughout each shift

• Keep accurate part counts and production logs

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Prior metal stamping or press operation experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to read and follow instructions and complete tasks accurately

• Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety procedures consistently
