Office Assistant

Starting Pay – $22 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
This is a varied role where you'll be the organizational backbone of the office, handling a mix of administrative, accounting, and customer support tasks:
- Front Desk & Communication: Answer and log incoming phone calls and warmly greet in-person guests.
- Customer & Project Support: Create and maintain electronic and paper customer files, assist with proposal preparation, and support permit applications.
- Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), including billing and follow-up, and handle Accounts Payable (A/P) data entry and vendor file maintenance.
- Technical Support: Create basic AutoCAD drawings using existing templates (we'll help you learn!).
- Administrative Support: Maintain equipment logs and files, and provide essential administrative support to division managers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills with internal and external partners.
Qualifications
- A Can-Do Attitude: A strong ability and willingness to learn new skills and processes is a must!
- Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail with a relentless focus on quality and accuracy.
- Exceptional Organization: You're a master at juggling and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work well both within a team environment and independently (unsupervised).
- Experience: Prior office or customer service experience.
- Tech Savvy: Competent with MS Office applications.
- Bonus Points: Prior basic bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required. We are also looking for a willingness to learn basic AutoCAD.
