Position – Marketing Assistant

Job Location – Thorp, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – 2 to 3 Months

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –  Days (8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm)

Starting Pay – $25 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – High proficiency in Canva and can perform basic tasks in Adobe Illustrator required, Experience with Sprout Social, GroundTruth, and Instacart preferred

A temporary office professional is needed to assist with marketing and administrative support during the busy holiday season, running through at least January. Responsibilities include batching social media content, writing press releases, assisting with event prep, and supporting ongoing marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

- Batch and schedule social media content based on brand guidelines and promotional briefs

- Write and edit press releases for company news and events

- Support event planning, preparation, and logistics as needed

- Assist with general marketing coordination and administrative support

- Utilize Canva and Adobe Illustrator for basic design tasks

- Work with platforms such as Sprout Social and GroundTruth to manage digital marketing activity

- Communicate effectively with internal team members and maintain organized project timelines

- Contribute to maintaining the company’s public image and brand consistency across media

- Stay on top of assigned tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced seasonal environment

Qualifications 

- High school diploma required

- Proficiency in Canva and basic skills in Adobe Illustrator

- Experience with social media management; familiarity with Sprout Social and GroundTruth preferred

- Strong written communication skills, including ability to write press releases

- Energetic, outgoing, and positive demeanor

- Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks independently

- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new platforms quickly

- Comfortable working on-site to start, with the possible transition to hybrid after training
