Position – Mechanical Assembler

Job Location – Eau Claire, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, possible OT on Fridays 6am-2:30pm)

Starting Pay – $21-$24 perHour

Required Education – 2-year Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related technical degree preferred but not required with equivalent hands-on experience.

Required Experience – Minimum 1–2 years of mechanical assembly, mechanical repair, industrial maintenance, or related hands-on mechanical work in a manufacturing or technical environment


This role involves the assembly and testing of industrial lift systems using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to complete assemblies accurately, using hand and power tools as well as measuring and testing equipment to ensure quality and functionality. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on assembly experience, troubleshooting ability, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

-Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for industrial lift systems
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
-Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring/testing equipment to complete assemblies
-Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting during and after assembly
-Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards
-Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
-Document work performed and communicate any issues or deviations to supervisor
-Work independently and collaboratively to meet production schedules and deadlines

Qualifications 

-1–2 years of mechanical assembly, mechanical repair, industrial maintenance, or related hands-on mechanical experience
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
-Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring/testing equipment (such as calipers, torque tools, or multimeters)
-Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot during assembly
-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
-Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
 -Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
