Our client is a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing facility seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to anchor their critical 12-hour night shift operations. Position – Production Supervisor

Job Location – Ripon, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  Night shift

Starting Pay – $35+ based on experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role

You will be the core operational leader on the floor during the overnight hours, responsible for the performance, safety, and quality output of our manufacturing line. Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (Exact schedule to be specified during interview)

Responsibilities

• Supervision & Execution: Oversee and manage daily 12-hour night shift production activities to ensure efficient, timely execution of manufacturing schedules.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Strictly monitor and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety regulations (HACCP), and all company policies.
• Team Leadership: Train, lead, motivate, and manage performance for all night shift production staff.
• Troubleshooting & Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, QA/QC) to quickly resolve production issues, troubleshoot basic equipment faults, and optimize workflow.
• Process Improvement: Actively assist in implementing and sustaining Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives (Lean, 5S, waste reduction).
• Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including metrics, downtime, and material usage.

Qualifications 

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or related production setting.
• Proven experience with automated/semi-automated production lines; familiarity with preventive maintenance and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
