Job Location – Eau Claire, WI

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday)
Starting Pay – $25 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED (Associate degree helpful)
Required Experience – 5+ years in manufacturing plus leadership, coaching, or training experience
We are seeking a dependable, people-focused Team Lead to support a manufacturing group that produces custom electrical control panels. In this role, you will guide day-to-day workflow, assist team members with questions, provide training, and help ensure product quality and production schedules stay on track. This position blends leadership responsibilities with hands-on assembly and wiring work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both teamwork and technical tasks.
Responsibilities

Support the department by helping meet daily and long-term production goals.

Perform wiring and assembly of custom control panels while following job specifications and electrical instructions.

Organize workloads, assign tasks, and adjust job flow to keep projects moving efficiently.

Check completed work to ensure accuracy and alignment with standard work practices.

Train new hires and assist current team members as they develop their skills.

Provide answers, guidance, and troubleshooting support when employees encounter challenges.

Encourage open communication and help foster a positive, team-minded work environment.

Ensure team members follow safety rules, quality expectations, and departmental procedures.

Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement discussions, and training sessions.

Communicate workplace concerns, improvement ideas, or equipment issues to leadership.

Coach team members to improve performance and recommend additional training when needed.

Maintain strong working relationships and promote a cooperative, productive team atmosphere.

Use tools and equipment safely while keeping work areas clean, organized, and aligned with 5S practices.

Support ongoing Lean and process-improvement initiatives and adapt to updated procedures or workflows.

Demonstrate company values through daily actions, communication, and teamwork.

Perform additional tasks as directed and remain open to learning new skills.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred but not mandatory.

At least 5 years in a manufacturing setting.

Prior leadership, team lead, or trainer experience required.

Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and basic production software.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with different personalities.

Solid problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Positive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
