Maintenance Technician – Plastic Manufacturing
Location: Baldwin, WI
Pay: Up to 34.00 DOQ
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Shift Structure: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; alternating 3-day/4-day weeks with every other weekend off)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced plastic manufacturing environment. This role is vital in ensuring our facility, equipment, and machinery operate safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.
What Your Average Day Will Look Like
Setting up shop tools and equipment to support production needs
Keeping the building and grounds in excellent condition
Performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
Monitoring machine performance to quickly identify and diagnose malfunctions
Making approved modifications or adjustments to machinery as needed
Repairing or replacing defective mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic components
Starting up equipment and verifying proper operation
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment
Maintaining accurate documentation of tools, work performed, and maintenance history
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred / Nice to Have
Associate degree in a related field or equivalent technical training
2–4 years of experience with:
Electrical and mechanical systems
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Welding and fabrication
Plumbing and HVAC
Blueprint reading
Basic PLC knowledge
Compressors and vacuum systems
