CNC Edgebander
Are you detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and skilled at precision work? We're looking for a dedicated CNC/Edgebander Specialist to join our Fond du lac client’s team. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for applying specified edge banding materials to CNC-cut parts, ensuring quality and accuracy to meet their production schedules.

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift
Starting Pay – $18+ based on experience
Required Experience – Must have prior CNC experience
Responsibilities
As a CNC/Edgebander Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for the efficient and accurate edge banding of materials:
- Machine Operation: Operate and adjust straight-line or contour banding machines to apply specified banding materials according to product specifications.
- Precision Adjustment: Make necessary machine adjustments to accommodate varying work-piece specifications and ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect parts rigorously for accuracy and the quality of applied edges, making machine adjustments as needed to maintain high standards.
- Workload Management: Balance responsibilities effectively to meet demanding product schedules and deadlines.
- Logistics & Tracking: Accurately label and palletize finished parts, close out jobs, and track material usages.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and maintain the highest quality standards.
Required Skills & Characteristics:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machine mechanics to produce a consistent, quality product.
- Measurement Proficiency: Skill in making accurate measurements using tools like a tape measure and micrometer.
- Machine Operation: Experience or demonstrated ability to run a straight-line banding machine (machine banding experience is preferred but not required).
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Safety & Compliance: Demonstrated ability to follow and comply with all company safety practices and procedures.
- Initiative: Shows initiative and ability to accurately complete assigned tasks while maintaining budgeted work hours.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma (preferred).
- Experience: Machine banding experience preferred but not necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
