Excellent attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to trouble-shoot problems, act on their own initiative and think laterally.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing strategies for the events in your portfolio (up to 3 new events per month) – this includes a communications plan, a content marketing and a social media strategy
Integrate direct marketing campaigns into marketing plans where appropriate
Forge strategic marketing partnerships with associations, publications, research organizations, online communities and web portals
Develop relationships in online communities and with key influencers
SEO for the events in your portfolio
Complete profit analysis for all marketing plans
Write and edit copy for marketing communications
Perform detailed response analysis (including the use of google analytics)
Create and manage marketing budgets
Work closely with other internal departments such as telesales, sponsorship sales, customer service and conference production
Manage external supplier relationships
