Our client is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator to support in developing, deploying and maintaining their Learning Management System. The Systems Administrator will also manage the client’s Blackboard hosted application.
Position Responsibilities:
• Perform application configuration and enhancement changes.
• Coordinate application upgrades and patches.
• Work to ensure smooth deployment of enhancements and releases.
• Create business process to manage and control change to applications
• Provide documentation and communication of changes.
• Train applications staff.
Position Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant major. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Blackboard system administration experience preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Learning Management Systems.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience addressing and resolving helpdesk trouble tickets at the highest tiers.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Candidate must be able to provide two references for experience applicable to this position.
