Position Summary:

The Scheduler of PSS Training Administration reports to the Director of AO and Cargo Training. The position is responsible for efficient execution of monthly PSS training schedules while minimizing cost and maximizing training resources.

 

Description:

  • Training Scheduling - Act as the primary point of contact and person responsible for scheduling personnel for PSS training. Work directly with AO Administration, Training Scheduling, and Training Delivery regarding scheduling and enrollment.

  • Training Records - Ensure training is recorded accurately and submitted to Training Records as soon as the training session is complete. Tracking and reporting completions to the operation.

  • Room Resources - Work directly with Training Delivery and Training Scheduling to ensure training rooms are secured for PSS.

  • Material Resources - Coordinate printing of all training material print jobs. Manage inventory of training materials and ensure materials are stocked. Execute shipment of materials to designated locations.

  • Equipment Resources - Act as the IT liaison for training laptops. Laptop configuration. Verification of applications. Coordination with IT and managing IT tickets associated with laptops. Coordinate with Instructors regarding applications that require validation. Shipment of laptops. Tracking movement of laptops.

  • Aid with student Check-in / and attendance tracking.

  • Coordinate travel and logistics for Instructors while on training assignment.

  • Assist in management of eLearning enrollment and completion reporting.

  • Responsible for coordinating classrooms and training equipment.

  • Serves as initial point of contact for training logistics questions.

  • Provide other general training support to include coordinating the creation, publishing, and dissemination of enrollment rosters.

  • Coordinate training materials and hardware to training locations

  • Assist with the preparations for the training environment using Skilling and troubleshooting any issue with the training platform.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 2 years administrative support experience

  • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; ability to learn new computer software programs quickly

  • Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects within an environment with deadlines and changing priorities required

  • Customer focused and team oriented, with the ability to be flexible and fluid in changing situations

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills, maintaining professional partnerships with all levels at HA

  • Ability to work flexible schedule when necessary and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Able to manage and coordinate schedules for staff and staff travel

  • Previous customer service-focused experience preferred

  • Previous airline experience or travel industry knowledge preferred

  • Understanding and experience using the Amadeus computer system preferred

  • Competence in Access and/or Vizio preferred

  • Knowledge of FAA and other regulatory requirements preferred
