Description:

Assist with the Hearing Conservation Program
-
Coordinate and administer OSHA-required baseline audiometric tests (new hires) and annual audiometric tests for 1,000+ employees.
-
Review and process Audiologist results requiring a physician’s referral and documentation.

Assist with the Respiratory Protection Program
-
Review and process all respirator fit testing records for HA Mechanics

Assist with data entry:
-
Maintain, enter, and organize safety & health program data/records within excel spreadsheets and safety databases

Assist with FAA Drug Abatement Audit preparation (as needed)

Review / verify recordkeeping of all drug & alcohol test results meets FAA/DOT requirements

Assist department personnel with special projects
Requirements:
-
Strong experience/skills with computers/tablets and Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with databases and SharePoint is a plus.

Knowledge/experience with OSHA programs/regulatory compliance is a strong plus.

Strong work ethic and initiative. Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.

Creative thinker and fast learner.

Strong team player, positive thinking, cooperative, and open minded to new ideas and to assignments outside of the normal job duties, etc.

Ability to organize projects and handle prioritization changes.

High ethical standards to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information
