Pay Rate: $50k – $70k, Negotiable, Based on Experience

 

This private non-profit organization assist the homeless community by creating and offering tailored solutions for those in crisis, and nurture homeless people toward greater self-direction and responsibility. This non-profit partners in government, business and community organizations, to deliver a spectrum of services with urgency, embrace innovation, and advocate for system changes through community education and outreach.

 

Position Summary:

The Recruiting Manager leads and implements efforts for recruiting talent, conducting full cycle recruitment and sourcing. Will work collaboratively with the Workforce Excellence team to execute performance and development programs, and retention activities. This position will align and improve recruiting and retention strategies using a data-driven focus to create a strong employment brand.

 

Description:

  • Research and implements recruiting programs focused on attracting talent including building a pipeline of qualified candidates.

  • Conducts full cycle recruiting (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, reference, offer, HR onboarding, etc.)

  • Develops appropriate position specific marketing strategies, defining metrics to minimize overall time-to start and cost-per-hire.

  • Maintains effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact in recruiting and hiring process.

  • Manages vendor service-level agreements, billing, and discounts to ensure high quality and effective service for the organization.

  • Work collaboratively and project manage where needed to ensure all employee engagement programs are efficient and effective for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning.

  • Performs a variety of tasks associated with the administrative support of the Workforce Excellence/HR Department.

  • Consults with managers and supervisors, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Supports the workforce excellence department with HRIS system including access for end users and proper training for leaders.

  • Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Director.

  • Uses the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.

  • Two to three years of experience in recruitment and employee relations.

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruitment, compensation practices, organizational performance, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional people skills.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive data.

  • Demonstrated proficiency will all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); experience with HRIS systems. ADP Workforce Now a plus.
