Location: Based in Waipahu, HI *position requires travel to various service locations on island*

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.00/hour

This organization has been locally owned and operated for over 15 years. They work closely with homeowners in the Oahu community. Their skilled technicians are experienced in working with all major appliance brands. They specialize in home appliance repair, restoration, and sales. Their goal is to provide fast and efficient services to meet their clients’ needs and busy schedule and offer same day service.

Description:

• Conduct appliance diagnosis and in-home repairs, including sealed system (high-side) in consumer’s homes on major appliances

• Operate assigned service van through an assigned route to many repair locations as directed

• Record all activities related to repairs, Complete invoices and close calls upon completion of the service call

• Wear uniform & maintain standards of personal grooming & appearance consistent with company values

• Manage maintenance and stock inventory of assigned service van

• Operate van with unwavering attention utilizing methods from Defensive Driving and/or other safety programs

• Promote and sell appliance parts, accessories, including water filters, and other products

• Follow safety procedures and constant awareness for personal safety and safety of others

• Travel to meet with customer in their homes or places of business

• Connect with customers to determine the nature of problems or to explain needed repairs, and provide estimates

Requirements:

• Clean driving record

• The ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, or sit for extended periods

• The ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs

• National Appliance Service Technician Certification (NASTeC) is advantageous

• Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining home appliances

• Ability to sit, walk and crawl occasionally

• Ability to stand, squat, kneel and dexterity to bend/twist neck and waist, frequently
