This local family and veteran owned business has been providing reliable air duct and dryer vent cleaning in Hawaii since 2007. Their goal is to provide fast and efficient services to meet their clients’ needs and busy schedule and offer same day service. As part of a team of skilled professional technicians your work will be to ensure the health and safety of the pets and people who live and work within the residential units you are servicing.

Description:

The Dryer Duct Cleaning position is an integral part of the company and is key to the growth of the company. All dyer duct cleaners must have the ability to work well in a high-paced working environment. The individual must work well as part of the team and independently from the supervisor. The dryer duct cleaner position is a hands-on technical position geared for an individual who has a technical mindset. Ideal candidates will have dryer duct cleaning knowledge and demonstrate the ability to learn new technical methods and techniques. 

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Clean ductwork components, dryer and bathroom vents

• Install or change dryer vent replacement hose

• Apply anti-microbial coatings

• Presents knowledge and trustworthiness to the customer

• Inspect own work at customer locations and ensure that it is complete, thorough, and meets quality standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations

• Work well with other team members and perform assigned duties at a high level

• Properly use and maintain the service vehicle

• Properly use and maintain all provided supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a technical hands-on field (experience in the dryer duct cleaning

• Good relationship-building skills with a diverse population including all customers’ partners, technicians, and all other company employees

• Good verbal and communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple functions at the same time

• Good organizational skills

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Capable of working effectively as part of a team

• Able to work in high areas or confined spaces

• Must be both bondable and insurable under company insurance

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Communication Skills Required

• Written/verbal communication skills in English.

Work Environment:

• This is an hourly position.

• This position primarily operates in an indoor and outdoor environment
