Pay Rate: $50-$85,000 Based on Experience

This company is an award-winning, Hawaii-based civil and environmental engineering firm that provides engineering consulting services in planning and design of private and public works development projects. Areas of expertise include engineering and design on potable and non-potable water systems, wastewater systems, investigations, drainage systems, athletic facilities, and general civil site design work.

Description:

Full-time, experienced drafting technician/cad operator able to perform drafting assignments that require the application of standardized drawing techniques using AutoCAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and record drawings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience with AutoCAD software.

• Previous experience with or understanding of civil engineering plans is preferable but not required.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and schedules.

• Ability to work within a team and communicate well with others; work with accuracy; reliability; resourcefulness; good judgment.

• Ability to perform designing and drafting assignments using AutoCAD software.

• Ability to do mathematical computations is preferable.

• Ability to do engineering drafting to prepare plans and details, maps, plans, profiles, and cross-sections is preferable but not required.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required

• Learning is encouraged with the opportunity for further advancement working with ArcGIS and Civil 3D.
