Pay Rate: $16.83 – $24.04/ hour, Based on experience

Position Summary:

Provides support to our Sales Department to increase throughput, velocity, and our overall conversion rate by owning the end-to-end process from lead generation to proposal generation. Manages the sales pipeline using our customer relationship management (CRM) system and collaborates with internal departments to ensure a positive prospect and client experience.

 

Description:

  • Assists the Director of Sales Operations with pipeline management including lead assignment, requests for quotes (RFQ), throughput, and proposal generation.

  • Processes inbound RFQs through our broker channel and ensures Salesforce is up-to-date with submission status, competitive intelligence, and prospect details.

  • Serves as a liaison for Underwriting to brokers and Account Executives to resolve questions and ensure receipt of the correct documentation needed to evaluate risk and set premium levels.

  • Assists brokers and Account Executives with onboarding clients including final paperwork, client meetings and setup, AHP coordination, Continuity of Care forms, and onsite orientations as needed.

  • Oversees Salesforce database management to ensure we have updated and accurate information pertaining to opportunities. Serves as main point of contact for Account Executives regarding CRM questions and updates.

  • Assists Account Executives and brokers with communication regarding pre-close questions and tasks between internal departments such as Underwriting, Billing, Account Management, Quality Management and

  • Communications.

  • Provides a weekly update to the Chief Revenue Officer and Director of Sales Operations on the current state of the pipeline, action items, and “stucks” to ensure pipeline quality control.

  • Manages sales rotor leads that come in through the Sales ACD line or Online Web form.

  • Assists with day-to-day AHP-related tasks alongside the Channel Manager and Director of Sales Operations.

  • Serves as an administrative backup to the Channel Manager and Director of Sales Operations.

  • Must comply with Company and Departmental policies and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must be present in the office to perform the job functions, except for external meetings and events.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field; two years of experience in sales operations, health insurance or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and no-fault auto insurance are required. Proof of license and insurance renewal must be submitted to HR prior to each expiration.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, time management, and verbal and written communications skills required.

  • Strong attention to detail, able to work well with others, and consistently meet deadlines required.

  • Prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment required.

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide amounts including percentages and decimals required.

  • Experience working with Salesforce software preferred.

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint preferred.

  • Business-to-business sales experience preferred.

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales and KPI goals preferred.

  • Reporting and database management skills preferred.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Able to remain in a stationary position and work on a computer for up to eight hours per workday.

  • Able to converse on the telephone for up to eight hours per workday.

  • Able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.

  • Able to drive a vehicle.
