Description:

This local family-owned and operated provider of crackseed snacks has been in operation since 1961. Over the years the business has seen many changes and dabbled in different ideas, but one thing has always been constant: our "Crackseed First" approach.

What does this mean? Our recipes have remained almost untouched for almost 60 years, allowing us to maintain the consistent flavors and aloha that we have become known for in our community. We pride ourselves in offering the freshest crackseed, done so by running smaller batches. As soon as it's ready, we package it and send it out for you all to enjoy. This means that it's not sitting on a boat for months and then on a shelf for a few more. Fresh crackseed is the best crackseed.

 Description:

Cook Assistant Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and sanitize production equipment and tools for each day. 

• Assist in production of seeds and dried fruit products. 

• Adheres to proper food handling, cleaning, and safety/sanitation requirements prescribed by the FDA and HCCAP. 

• Maintains organized cleaning logs and safety procedures. 

• Wash and sanitize trays, carts, barrels, and production equipment. 

• Clean and maintain production area. 

Qualifications: 

• No experience required but preferred food handling experience.

• Production experience preferred. 

• We will train the right individual. 

• Must be reliable and hard working. 

• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time. 

• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
