Description:
SUMMARY: Reception is responsible for maintaining a professional front desk environment and providing excellent customer service. The incumbent is directly responsible for all front desk operations including reception and performing switchboard duties. Additional duties include assistance with other clerical duties.
Job Duties:

Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel

Maintains a high level of customer service in all aspects of the position
-
Maintains a highly professional Front Desk image
-
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department

Retrieves messages every morning from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel
-
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
-
Answers questions about BRMS and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
-
Receives deliveries and routes accordingly
-
Maintains incoming and outgoing mail - retrieves, logs, and routes incoming mail to the appropriate departments

Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Excellent customer service skills, both in person and over the phone

Must be dependable and maintain excellent attendance

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to use computer based phone systems

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Ability to grow with changing demands of the position and the company
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training.
