The Plus Group is searching for experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses! Several openings available in the Merced and Stanislaus County areas! Seeking out the skilled LVN’s comfortable working in a fast paced Family Practice, Woman’s Health/OBGyn practice, and/or Occupational Health practices.


Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) will be under the supervision of the Nursing Care Coordinator II (the NCC I is responsible for on-site nursing care and administrative tasks related to patient health, patient education, and Medical Assistant training). RN Nursing Supervisors will also be responsible for patient triage.


Looking for the following abilities:

  • Proven ability to have effective communication and problem-solving skills in past positions.

  • Consciously provide advanced customer service patient -centered treatment, care, and attention.

  • Educates patients regarding condition specific treatment plans and self care as prescribed by the provider.

  • Clinically train and supervise MAs and other patient care staff in collaboration with trainers to measure skill and competency.

  • Assist and perform medical procedures, administer vaccinations, and follow-up on health evaluations according to condition.

  • Performs basic assessment by collecting and documenting subjective and objective patient data.

  • Recognizes problems or abnormal conditions specific to the patient.

  • Reports all abnormal findings to the provider or Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Participates in planning, implementing, and contributes to the evaluation of individualized patient care interventions in accordance with the care plan or treatment plan prepared by licensed providers and/or RNs.

  • Supports general health center maintenance activities to assure compliance with patient safety, infection control, quality assurance, mandated reporting, consent, and confidentiality policies/procedures.

  • Attends designated meetings, participates in assigned committees and taskforces,

  • Assists in the development and implementation of nursing and patient care services, policies and procedures

  • Proactively assumes responsibility for continuous improvement activities and is receptive to accepting other job duties as assigned and as delegated.

  • Knowledge of clinical back office procedures and ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain a warm and friendly demeanor, perform nursing duties, be flexible and innovative.

  • Ability to work as a team, demonstrate excellent communication, data entry patient details, and work with electronic health records.



Must have active California LVN

Current American Heart Association ”BLS for Healthcare Providers” certification

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required
