The Plus Group is seeking an Accounting Administrator for a reputable institution that provides financial, retirement and benefit plans for small businesses.

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment by performing the following duties:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of invoices for client billings

• Accounts Payable processing

• Office equipment and supply purchasing

• Vendor and Client Accounting Program Maintenance

• Assist in A/R collection process

• Assist in daily/weekly/monthly accounting closes

• Assist in Cash Receipts processing as requested

• Assist Controller as needed

• Maintain satisfactory attendance

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Graduate

• 1-2 years related experience in Bookkeeping (A/P or A/R)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications predominately in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Must be able to type at least 45 WPM
