We have immediate openings for Para Educators for the Special Needs classes to work at school campuses within the Woodland and West Sacramento area:

Requirements for all teacher assistants who provide support must have:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent and completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (no less than 48 units) OR

• Obtained an associates (or higher) degree OR

• Demonstrate through a formal State or local assessment, knowledge of and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics.

• Previous experience working with groups of children, and or working with disabled students or adults is highly desirable.

• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel at a moment’s notice to school campuses anywhere within Yolo county.

• Prerequisites for Hiring Consideration

• Willing to conduct LiveScan Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

• Criminal Background Investigation must be clear.

• Current T.B. tested and clear.

• COVID vaccination required or weekly COVID tested.

• Complete online skill assessments with acceptable results.
