Referral/Authorization Coordinator

An orthopaedic specialty clinic is looking for a Referral/Authorization Coordinator to assist their clinic needs. 

This is a contracted, possible temp to hire on position.

Hours - 8am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch. Monday - Friday.

Duties:
- Contacting patients' insurance companies/doctors to ensure patient has proper authorization to receive treatment
- Constant follow-ups with insurance companies

Requirements:
- Some knowledge about medical insurances

- Some knowledge about referrals/authorizations

The Referral/Authorization Coordinator will be at Fremont OR Hayward, but must be able to travel to other locations.

Pay $22 to $24/hourly DOE
