Well-established and positioned company in the Dublin area focused on renewable energy and EV technology is looking for a Project Manager for a 6-month project.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing small to medium-sized projects valued up to $1 million and less than 12 months of period of performance (PoP). The project manager may take direction from the senior director of program management or other program managers. This position reports to the Senior Director of Program Management.

 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

· Project Manager continually reviews the status of the project and budget; manages schedules and develops appropriate reports to document the progress of the project.

· Assesses project issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.

· Provides direction to project control analyst in preparation of project/program integrated master schedules

· Participates in the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project management, line management, and the customer.

· Project Manager assists with the development of the project plan and manages resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.

· Monitor project schedule, timeline, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.

· Project Manager creates progress reports and may present results to project staff when necessary.

· Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s in business administration or related discipline

· A minimum of 6 years of progressively complex experience in project management. May substitute equivalent experience instead of education.

· Must have a good understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.

· Experience with utilizing the processes from PMI or having a PMP is desirable.

· Ability to initiate, plan and manage projects.

· Ability to develop and maintain project schedules is desired.

· Ability to identify and status project risks, issues, & opportunities is desired.

· Ability to analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of issues.

· Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

 

PAY RATE & BENEFITS: $55-65\hour DOE plus Medical benefits after 60 days and Paid Sick Leave after 90 days.
