**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN to join our clinical team. The LVN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with clinical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to our organization's mission.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with clinical procedures, including wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Assist with patient assessments and documentation of patient care activities.
- Educate patients and families about healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid LVN license in the state of CA
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a nonprofit or community healthcare setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
