Field Service Technician

Join our client's team as a Field Service Technician! You'll inspect and repair firestopping systems, doors, and dampers to ensure compliance with fire and life safety codes. Get cross-trained in multiple areas and play a key role in protecting people and property.

Responsibilities

• Complete field inspection forms based on NFPA, IBC, and UL standards
• Inspect and repair fire-rated doors, smoke barriers, and dampers
• Read blueprints and life safety drawings
• Document findings and sync inspection data daily
• Install products to bring systems up to code
• Label and photograph deficiencies and repairs
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Submit timesheets and reports on time
• Communicate job changes or concerns
• Update post-repair records

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication and recordkeeping skills
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office
• Willing to travel as needed
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Mon–Fri, with occasional weekends

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, climb, bend, crawl, and reach regularly
• Work in tight spaces and on ladders
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Work inside containment and above ceilings

Pay: $21.00 - $23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
