Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required. See JSA & PDA for this position for details safety instructions.

  • Understand ISO 9001 requirements and company policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through company policy.

  • After training, participate as a member of the chemical emergency response team.

  • Maintain TDI gas monitor at head of round block and flat block lines.

  • Assemble mix heads for all lines: Round, flat, and CO2.

  • Set up machinery in preparation of production runs.

  • Start up and shut down machine properly.

  • Properly secure TDI, water, and or tin injectors into mix head.

  • Operate: Main pour/purge switch, conveyor, fall plates, mixer, and fence on round and flat lines.

  • Monitor production variables and ensure the variables fall within an acceptable range.

  • Monitor cream line and foam for any defects and react accordingly.

  • Remove and properly clean TDI, water, and tin injectors.

  • Clean mix head after end of run and remove mix head at the end if the week for proper cleaning.

  • Prepare nozzles for round and wing pours.

  • Prepare sieve package for CO2. Prepare sieve package for CO2 and clean sieves after CO2 pour.

  • This position may be required to work daily and/ or weekend overtime.

  • Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate.

  • Cross train in other position as required.

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee's supervisor.





  • Must have High School diploma or GED

  • Must have three to six months related experience and/or training

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
