Sorter

Major duties:

• Process donated housewares, books, toys, jewelry, shoes and decorator items for sale. This is done through pre-sorting, sorting, grading, cleaning, hanging and packaging
  

• Pre-sort items according to predetermined classification or criteria
  

• Identify items that are saleable in store

• Remove surface dirt from glassware and small wares placing items which are not complete and/or broken into containers for the As-Is or trash

• Put saleable clothes on to hangers

• Price product using pre-determined guidelines

• Work with clients who are assigned for vocational services as requested

• Follows and enforces all company procedures

• Performs other duties as requested
  
  Responsibilities
  When sorting clothes, check for tears, stains, missing buttons and torn seams. In the process of checking, pat down pockets and turn in found items into your supervisor or manager. Failure to do so will lead to discipline up to and including termination
