Mechanical Technician
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Description of Job Duties:
Operate and perform maintenance of 3D printing systems in a clean room environment. Carry out 3D printing tasks and process 3D printing products. Prepare and maintain instrument logbook and experiment notebook. General device fabrication, processing and assembly. Prefer to be familiar with SolidWork design software, understand mechanical drawings and have experience in using different mechanical tools and working with machine shop. Adapt to use other instruments and lab work
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must have a high school or equivalent. Must have hands on experience in machine operation, device assembly, and tool usage. The candidate preferably has good communication and interpersonal skills, can work efficiently and diligently and be productive under supervision.
Description of Physical Requirements (standing, walking for long periods of time):
Regular Lab or office work.
Other: Lab PPE, eg gloves and safety glasses.
