Lab Assistant

Duration: 6 months

Description of Job Duties

Preparing samples by weighing portions of gasoline using an analytical balance, adding specific weights of a chemical, and sealing the prepared samples into vials for instrument analysis. Other activities will include pouring gasoline samples into various size containers, organizing samples, washing glassware, cleaning work area and disposing of spent chemicals.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High School Diploma or equivalent and some college chemistry courses are required

Computer experience is required and laboratory experience is desired
