Electronics Technician

Are you hands-on with electronics and enjoy bringing complex systems to life? We’re looking for an experienced Electronics Technician to support daily electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and light field installation activities for cutting-edge technology projects.

In this role, you’ll work with engineering drawings, schematics, and procedures to assemble and test electronic and communication components. You’ll also contribute to mechanical placement, wire/cable harness work, and support occasional on-site installs and tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily assembly and testing of electronic components and systems.

• Assemble mechanical parts, place components, and complete wire/cable assemblies.

• Provide field support for equipment installation and on-site testing as needed.

• Interpret and work from detailed schematics, engineering drawings, and written procedures.

• Solder, troubleshoot, and validate electronic assemblies to ensure proper functionality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly or related fields.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware and communication-based electronics.

• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to provide clear progress updates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or a related field (may substitute for part of the experience requirement).

• Trade school training or military background in electronics is a plus.
