POSITION SUMMARY:

• Mold Machine Operator

• Ensures the mold top is clean of poly foam

• Spray mold release on top part of mold to prevent sticking

• Ensure the mold bottom is clean of poly foam and spray mold release on bottom part of mold

• Position felt properly, with the retaining pins, on the bottom

• Position insert pieces properly on upper right side of mold

• Position insert pieces properly on upper left side of mold

• Slip onto retaining bracket, on the upper left side of mold

• Place on molding machine

• Carefully remove from mold and place on water jet to insure proper positing of edges

• Trim with scissors

• Glue any rips or tears

• Stack finished parts into containers

• Inspect product for errors and make sure that label is placed on container

• Ensure that the windshield edge is not deformed or damaged

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma or GED required

• Must have machine operator experience

• Preferred someone with Automotive Industries Manufacturing experience but not required

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, stooping, bending and lift up to 50 pounds

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Must have be self-motivated, physically fit and work independently

• Must comply with a drug test and background check

• Requires steel toe shoes/no jewelry
