Looking for a hands-on Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This role is focused on protecting people and the environment through proactive safety programs and strict regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. Identify hazards, perform risk assessments (e.g., Job Safety Analysis), and implement control measures. Develop and deliver safety training programs; promote a safety-first culture. Conduct EHS audits and workplace inspections. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and prepare reports. Maintain accurate EHS documentation, manuals, and records. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. Preferred certifications: CSP, OSHA (501, 511, 30-hour), CPR/First Aid. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Computer proficiency and familiarity with EHS software tools. Preferred Experience Proven EHS experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong OSHA/EPA regulatory knowledge. Ability to develop training programs and conduct root cause analysis. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
