Soldering

Perform soldering tasks for the purpose of assembly and/or rework of populated/printed circuit boards

Familiarity with J-STD-001 preferred.

Experience soldering electronics, including surface mount and through hole components

Strong soldering skills with the ability to solder 0402 size components.

Strong soldering skills with the ability to solder wires down to 28 gauge

Experience with IC package reflow/replacement.

Ensure completed soldering tasks are cleaned/routed for proper cleaning.

Self inspect all soldering performed to ensure rework quality.

Properly handle and care for soldering tools (tips, sponges, assembly tools, workstation mats. etc.).

*The focus of this position is providing soldering support to an engineering development team; other, non solder assembly work is also required.
