Picking Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Supervisor Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage order fulfillment.

• Accurately pick products from shelves according to order specifications.

• Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain productivity.

• Perform inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counts.

• Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance.

• Support logistics operations by coordinating with other departments as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.

• Experience in shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.

• Strong team management skills are desirable for effective collaboration.

• Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.

• Knowledge of inventory control practices is advantageous.

• Experience with third party logistics (3PL) operations is a nice to have.

• Proficiency in materials handling techniques will be considered an asset.
