Repair and troubleshoot electronic components

Receive and inspect customer returns per process.

Data entry in spreadsheets and databases.

Communicate with customer at a technical level via email and web application.

Manage transactions through ERP systems and or other web based systems
-
Mechanical disassembly/reassembly of customer units down to the PCB level.
-
Troubleshoot and test customer products to the component level using digital multi-meter, power supplies and customer testing system (Spider) as required on the path to diagnosing and repairing product
-
SMT Soldering of components using a hot air rework station and soldering iron on customer equipment.

Research inconsistencies and correcting if necessary.
-
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds required.

Operate within standard operating procedures as defined in the business’s production manuals.

Consistent follow up on unresolved warranty and out-of-stock issues.

Flexibility to work on special returns
-
Multitask multiple projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
