Duties

• 6 to 2 years experience in assembly or manufacturing

• Assembles products along a production line manually or with use of small/large hand tools. Some are electric tools

• Follow standard operating procedures

• Accurately follows customers order requirement and specs

• Read bill of materials (BOM)

• Focus on quality of work by carefully inspecting all assembled parts before performing passing product down the line

• Immediately notify the appropriate employee to report machine shutdowns and repairs needed.

• Properly stores and maintains productions tools and equipment once tasks are complete

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Can stand for long periods of time

• Can reach within hands and arms length, bend and stoop, walk, and stand consistently during entire shift

• Good manual dexterity

• Can lift up to 50lbs

Education/Certifications/skills

• HS diploma or GED

• Can read and comprehend procedures written in English
