We are currently seeking a Material Handler to work in the Austell area.
This individual will have the responsibility of moving materials within the Atlanta facility without damage to product or the client's property. The individual will assist in preparation of stock for daily customer shipments as well as to receive incoming product.
Assure compliance with the client's Quality Policy Guidelines and the procedures of the client's Management System
Strong MIG welding experience (will need to pass a test)
Must have one year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment or a recent welder graduate from vocational school
Ensure that all work has been completed in a safe, prompt, and professional manner
Cut, form and weld mild steel material to specification
Ability to use various clamping tools, fixtures, and devices
Follow standard work instructions to repair automatic taping tools (“ATF”) tools
Meet daily production expectations and quotas
Recognize quality defects during the assembly process
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Meet all quality specifications
Maintain paperwork assigned by any level of management
Actively participate in all continuous improvement activities
Adhere to all 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Experienced Forklift Operators
1 year minimum of stand up and sit down forklift experience
Experience in production environment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the duration of the shift (8 to 12 hours)
Be able to work in fast paced production environment
Production / Assembly Experience
Shifts (12-hour swing shift, rotating every 2 weeks between days and nights) 7-7
