Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.45
Position Description:
Shadow and train with an experienced encapsulator to become familiar with the process and understand production quotas
Identify specific materials needed for each customer’s orders
Properly handle materials to limit waste and maintain capsule integrity
Learn to assemble the machine for production and disassemble it for sanitation
Perform minor adjustments and troubleshoot equipment under the supervision of a Level II or higher to limit downtime
Use Good Documentation Practices (GDP) ensuring all paperwork is clear, legible, and accurate, following SOPs
Adhere to all Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and GMPs to produce high-quality products that can be safely delivered to customers
Follow all required work safety practices, including PPE, confined spaces, chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in the food & beverage industry preferred
Effective verbal communication; fluent in English, bilingual preferred
Basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Strong organization and prioritization skills with extreme attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work in an environment exposed to sensitive food ingredients and allergens
