We are looking for Set Up Technicians to set up the tool on Injection Molding Press, Troubleshoot mold, part, press and robot problems. Be able to setup and start production jobs as well as setup, program and adjust robots.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up the tool as per Daily Schedule using Mold Set up Checklist and fill out necessary paper work. Troubleshoot molding problems and document process and changes accordingly. Help to train Material Handlers (Process Tech Level C) and be able to cover the shift for the Supervisor (Process Tech Level A) when necessary.
The employee is required to lift and / or push up to 55 pound loads.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to keep him/her active.
The employee is required to work in a moderate noise levels in the workplace and keep all manufacturing area neat and clean.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the job.
Grade school and two to three years related experience in Injection Molding tool set-up and troubleshooting.
Ability to read, write and speak English. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
Basic knowledge of resins and resin specs as it pertains to molding and troubleshooting.
Be able to satisfactorily pass a basic math, injection molding and reading comprehension test(s).
