Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Contract $35

Job description

• Helps the Infection Control nurses set up homes on isolation precautions.
• Monitors supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the isolation homes.
• Assists with TB skin tests, COVID-19 testing, COVID-19 booster shots, and seasonal vaccinations (e.g. Influenza). Helps Infection Control team with data entry, record updates and requests.
• Other duties as assigned by the Chief Nurse Executive and Infection Control Nurse.

Job Requirements for all candidates:

• Must be licensed LVN/LPN and able to practice in Texas
• Preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse
• Knowledge of Infection Control practices. Infection control experience a plus!
• Experience needs to be acute hospital care, LTC , community clinics, public health, etc. (not Home Health or School Nurse)
