Job Description
Performs maintenance, diagnosis, repair, or replacement of defective components on motor
vehicles.
Performs safety and emissions inspections.
Exchanges, rebuilds, and overhauls motors, transmissions, differentials, carburetors, and other
motor vehicle components and systems.
Distributes motor vehicle supplies.
Inventories parts and equipment.
Maintains records on work performed and parts used.
May maintain and repair heavy construction equipment.
May provide guidance to others.
Performs related work as assigned
