Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dock Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks, organizing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials in and out of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks using manual or powered equipment.
- Organize and palletize incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of all materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the dock.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or dock environment preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:45pm - 2:30am, one Saturday a month
