Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring qualified, patient care focused Certified Medical Assistants to work in Houston, TX, at a correctional facility.
Certified Medical Assistants are responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience to build and reinforce satisfaction, and trust and drive organizational loyalty. Candidates will be accountable for welcoming and preparing the patient for their appointment, rooming, vitals, informing patients of relevant and required information for their visits, and clear communication around the services they are scheduled to receive.
Job Responsibilities:
Works in an infirmary, clinic setting, or on the floor of the correctional facility.
Works directly with the inmates (male and female)
Conducts temperature checks and vitals.
Checks patients into the clinic, and documents necessary information.
Performs other duties on the floor.
Job Requirements:
Medical Assistant Certification Required
Must have a minimum of 1 year clinical CMA experience (back office)
CPR – American Heart Association BLS Required
Flu vaccination required (exemption processes available)
Job Details:
Schedule-shifts available- Monday-Friday-6 am - 6 pm with rotating weekends. Must have open work day availability.
Located In Downtown Houston
Pay- Starting at $20/hour
