Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring qualified, patient-care-focused Licensed Vocational Nurses to work at a correctional facility in Houston, TX. LVN license/certification with the state of TX required. Must have a minimum of 1 year of correctional facility LVN work experience
Job Responsibilities:
Works in an infirmary, clinic setting, or on the floor of the correctional facility.
Administers prescribed medication.
Assists with medical procedures.
Works directly with the inmates (male and female)
Conducts temperature checks and vitals.
Checks patients into the clinic, and documents necessary information.
Performs other duties on the floor.
Job Requirements:
LVN License/Certification with the state of Texas is Required
Must have a minimum of 1 year of correctional facility LVN work experience
Med Surge experience - Required
Emergency Center experience - Preferred
CPR – American Heart Association BLS required.
Must be ok to pass meds for 4-5 hrs. with a big med cart
Flu vaccination is required (exemption processes available).
Must have prior correctional facility experience.
Job Details:
Schedule-Monday-Friday-shifts available- 6 am - 6 pm with rotating weekends. Must have open workday availability.
Located In Downtown Houston.
Salary- $40/hr + benefits
