Hire Dynamics in Marietta has a client in Kennesaw who is looking for Machine Operators. This is a manufacturing company that has been around since the early 1950s. They specialize in metal manufacturing and innovation. This person will monitor 8-10 machines to ensure that the speed of the machine, load, and output are accurate according to specifications. This person would also record and report any discrepancies to a supervisor or quality assurance personnel. Below are some of the job duties: regularly review the load and speed of the machine ensure there are no deformities in the output, such as incorrect or broken strands, incorrect alignment, flakes, etc. measure output for width variance, thickness variance, and other discrepancies reports any machine malfunctions to supervisor immediately may have to load and unload materials from machines may use an overhead crane to move material within the production department may drive a forklift to transport material within the production department Listed below are the shift that are available (could be subject to change). 1st shift (6:45 am – 3:15 pm) 2nd shift (2:45 pm – 11:15 pm) 3rd shift (10:45 pm – 7:15 am) In this role, there are certain requirements that must be met: -knowledge of basic math skills -safe work skills -ability to read a tape measure -High School Diploma or GED -1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment -ability to walk throughout the day -ability to stand, stoop, bend, climb, push, pull and reach throughout the day -overhead crane certification is desired, but not required -forklift certification is also desired, but not required
