POSITION: Solutions Architect, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Solutions Architect will…
Define requirements and create technical specification for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) implementations.
Provide front line support for mission critical manufacturing centric applications and databases
Install, configure and/or create MES software while providing specified MES reporting.
Design, development and implement software needed to integrate MES with other business systems; Develop, document, and validate software test plans.
Analyze and recommend improvements and expand Application functionality, System Integration, and Application Performance utilizing best practices.
We need people who…
Have experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), OEE, ERP systems, Manufacturing Shop Floor Technologies and Industrial Control Systems (Rockwell/Allen Bradley/Siemens PLC; JCI Automation, and industrial scanners/imagers);
Have experience with platform integration technologies (API, REST API, Linked Servers)
Have experience with implementation and support for Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, IIS, as well as developing programs utilizing relational database language, such as PL/SQL and/or Transact SQL
Work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
Possess strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Can communicate clearly and respectfully, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization
Must be at least 21, and a high school graduate; Minimum 3 years’ experience developing programs utilizing relational database languages; Minimum 3 years’ experience implementation and support for Microsoft SQL Server Must be able to work outside normal business hours (on call); Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science desirable; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
When you are on a long term contract position with The Hiring Group, you are our full time W2 employee. You will be compensated hourly.
