We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Technician. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating housekeeping and safety efforts. They will be an integral part of a team responsible for maintaining, repairing, and enhancing equipment, while also providing support for the overall steel manufacturing process. This role involves the safe upkeep of electrical equipment and components across the steel plant, encompassing electrical and electronic elements, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Responsibilities include troubleshooting and performing repairs, collaborating with and assisting operations, actively pursuing process enhancements, contributing to equipment documentation and training, and fulfilling other assigned duties. The candidate must be open to working rotating shifts. Safety holds paramount importance in all positions; thus, candidates must demonstrate their ability to initiate, lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Minimum Qualifications:

Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:

2 or 4 year engineering or technical degree

4 or more years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience

Experience with leading a team
